This guide provides an overview of the available inventory inquiries and reports used to review inventory balances, quantities, allocations, storage details, and lot/serial expiration information In Acumatica.
Inventory Balance
The Inventory Balance report provides up-to-date on-hand information for inventory items stocked across different warehouses.
The report includes:
- Warehouse ID
- Unit Cost
- Quantity on Hand
- Unavailable Quantity
- Quantity of Expired items
- Available Quantity
Additional options are available to display warehouse locations and/or lot/serial numbers.
Historical Inventory Balance
The Historical Inventory Balance report provides beginning and ending inventory quantities for items stored at warehouses during a selected financial period or range of periods. The report also provides totals by operation and groups the data by inventory ID.
The report is available in two formats:
Summary
The Summary format displays the quantities associated with each type of operation performed on the inventory item during the selected period or range of periods.
Detailed
The Detailed format provides transaction-level information for the selected inventory item during the specified period or range of periods.
Inventory Summary
The Inventory Summary inquiry provides detailed information about inventory items available at each warehouse.
The inquiry displays:
- Available quantities by location
- On-hand quantities by location
- Details of each quantity bucket that contributes to the available quantity
This inquiry is also accessible from the Stock Item screen.
Storage Summary
The Storage Summary inquiry displays on-hand inventory quantities by product for an entire warehouse or for a specific location within a warehouse.
The inquiry includes options to display:
- Lot Number
- Serial Number
- Expiration Date
- Warehouse
- Location
Inventory Allocation Details
The Inventory Allocation Details inquiry displays how a selected inventory item is allocated across warehouses and warehouse locations for unreleased transactions.
Users can drill down to the associated transaction by selecting the Reference Nbr. column.
This inquiry is also accessible from the Stock Item screen.
Storage Details by Item, Warehouse, and Location
The Storage Details by Item Warehouse Location inquiry provides information about inventory quantities available across different warehouses and warehouse locations.
Users can select a specific warehouse to view the stock items available within that warehouse's locations.
This inquiry is available out of the box through the Data Views workspace.
Lot/Serial Numbers
The Lot/Serial Numbers report provides information about inventory items tracked by lot or serial number.
The report includes:
- Expiration Date
- Unit cost
- Available Quantity
- Expired Quantity
The information is calculated based on the selected aging date.
The Expiration Date is displayed only when the item's lot/serial class has the Track Expiration Date option enabled.
Lot/Serial Expiry List
The Lot/Serial Expiry List is a custom Firefly inquiry that displays lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities.
The inquiry can be configured to identify inventory items expiring within a specified number of days. It can also be added as a dashboard widget for convenient monitoring of upcoming lot/serial expirations.
